Solution:

To promote the adoption of quota system among political parties to guaranty the increase the number of women elected to 30% in a formula of 25% full rights with a back up number to 5%. This formula will require that the listing of candidates list be alternate between the sexes in 2007 commune and sangkat election.

Strategy:

CPWP will implement activities through media campaign through the outlets of the media, public forums, training of women candidates, media drama, advocacy and lobbying to promote the awareness the importance of women participation in decision making at the local level, among the general public and the political parties.
